Hello,

I have a question regarding acceptability of turrets per this spec. Section 6.1 declares that " Swaged hardware that overhangs the land is acceptable if it does not violate minimum electrical clearance, see 1.5.3." but 6.1.1.2 declares class 3 defect if "the top edge of terminal is bent beyond the edge of base". I have a turret bent beyond the base and land but does not electrically interfere with any neighboring components. Do I have a defect per 6.1.1.2 or can I claim acceptance per 6.1?

thank you for any assistance you can provide.
