Well, there are residual benefits to everything.

Isn't having pressure sensitive tapes out of your comfort zones a good thing, sort of like getting off scotch free?

Pressure sensitive tapes are a little out of my comfort zone, but you pick up stuff. I recognise 468PM/200MP as a sort of stick all general purpose material.
3M have a range of double sided tapes specifically for silicone keyboard attach in hand held devices. They have different types of adhesive - one side for keypad other for PCB. Different carriers also according to precise requirements of your product.

Have you talked to 3M?

Best Wishes

Subject: [TN] Membrane Keypad Adhesive

We are having problems with getting a silicone rubber membrane keypad to adhere to a printed board assembly. We are currently using a 3M 468MP/200MP adhesive to attach to an LPI finish (gloss) prepared with an IPA wash. I suspect that there are better combinations of adhesive/surface/solvent but don't have the background to make a suggestion. Any recommendations?
