Absolutely. A well-oiled factory works better :).

Oh yeah, lots of lotion. Especially in the winter.

We have been using CM systems for esd wrist straps and mat monitoring for at least 13 years. The only issue we had for constant alarms was if the operator failed due to dry skin. We have taught them to moisturize their wrist with approved skin cream such as R&R Moisturizing ESD Lotion, and that has pretty much fixed the issue. No other issues reported, the constant monitor system works much better than depending on daily wrist strap checks.

Hi Folks

Any consensus on the usefulness of continuous wrist strap monitoring ? I have been running a pilot line and have had a lot of problems due to constant alarms. Can't, at the moment, figure out if this is just a true reflection on variation in operator grounding or some failings in the monitoring system. Any experiences out there ?

Regards
