Hi folks - Here is the Friday Element Quiz Question (this one may be
difficult):

The Question:
This element was one of the first of its "type" to be widely available for


commercial use in applications such as dentistry and as an alloying agent in stainless steel. The pure form of this element was not available until 1953. It is added to aluminum power transmission lines to improve conductivity. What element is being described?
