Hi All,

We have a cable that we crimp a Solistrand ring terminal # 328822

We currently are using the AMP hand crimping tool #63955

http://www.te.com/catalog/bin/TE.Connect?C=1&M=BYPN&TCPN=69355&RQPN=6935

It's okay for a few terminals, but to do more than just a few it's
pretty tough on the hands. I know the proper powered tooling from TE is
the way to go, but it's pretty expensive. I've been looking at something
from Heilind Electronics called a Universal Power Crimper that looks
interesting,

It's less expensive than the dedicated power crimper from TE, and can
utilize other hand crimpers from Molex, Berg, Burndy, etc.

I'm wondering if any of you have ever used this unit? Does it work as
advertised? Are there any other units similar to this out there?

Thanks!

Steve
