Hi,

I always used .035 inch (which is close to 1mm) square pads.

If routing is real tight you might consider using the small solder ball
test points which use probes with flat ends. Never tried it myself but it
sure looked like a good idea.

Our R&D group has design a new PCB. To use as a test points, pad area are
designing. We are planning that this pad area will be 1 mm(type: circle,
diameter: 1mm). Normally, we use that via (there ara holes in) for test
points.

Does anyone have information about the test points?
