I used 3M # type 600 in the past, but beware, that there are different versions in different countries (as I found out to my horror) that have variations on adhesion stengths (verified on adhesion to steel).
Best to check out the data sheet where you are.

I thought I'd ask others in the industry to better understand what tape
the majority of the industry was using.
