We have been using Laird shields (their standard sizes). They have quoted custom sizes. A US company (St. Louis, MO) but they do manufacture in many countries.

We prefer removable shields (installed after assembly and final test) so use Autosplice clips to attach the shields to the PWBs.

I am going through the difficult process of introducing the concept of automated (SMT) shield installation as opposed to manually installed shields with thru hole pins, and hand soldered.

I need some sources for RF shields for PWAs but my experience is with companies that are overseas  and therefore non-ITAR.   These would be metal stamped and folded shields.

I need a "good" USA source for these shields, preferably one that can build custom low profile one and two piece SMT shields.  The initial source I picked (from the internet) was turned down for not having a FOD policy nor some other Quality requirement.

Any help would be appreciated as my memory is not as good as it used to be.
