Hi folks - Now I get it! Clumpy and Kloumpious were talking about adding
cattle guards to their tractors after assisting Raye but I didn't
understand the context of the conversation. There was also discussion
about ".... getting under their bumpers and taking them into the
wall................" but I assumed that was a NASCAR discussion, now I
know better.

Hi Raye!
Got the picture up! Yes I know about LA traffic, been there, and done
that, but I didn't get a T-shirt....all I wanted was out of that
traffic!!!
I see Clumpy and Kloumpious did add a nice touch to their tractors, the
American Flag. It was their way of saying thank-you to all the Veterans
out there today, and I humbly thank them too!!

Hi Steve,
Would you post the attached photo of Clumpy and Kloumpious in LA?
The boys were a great help and enjoyed the weather here enormously. They
were able to squeeze in a trip to Malibu in between test runs. I don't
think they enjoyed the LA traffic much though. Some people never really
get used to it. They are ready for an assignment in an area with a few
less cars.
Best regards,
Raye Rivera

Hi Dave,
Great! We are just launching some new products so the boys can help out
with product testing for NEBS qualifications. Canoga Perkins is in
Chatsworth, California. That is the North end of the city of Los Angeles
and we are expecting temperatures in the '70s next week.
Best regards,
Raye Rivera

Subject: [TN] NTC Friday Element Quiz Answer
Hi folks - Here is the Friday Element Quiz Answer:
The Question:
This element is the 12th most produced chemical in the United States. A
compound of this element was an ingredient in toothpaste and cough syrup
until it was banned. The product "Carbona". What element is being
described?
The Answer:
The element is Chlorine (Cl). The name for chlorine was derived from the
Greek word "khloros" which means "greenish yellow". Carbon tetrachloride
(CCl4) was used for dry cleaning of clothing until it was found to be a
carcinogen (Carbona = ether + CCl4). Carl Wilhelm Scheele actually
discovered chlorine when he mixed manganese dioxide with muriatic acid
resulting in a pungent, greenish yellow gas. Sir Humphry Davy later
investigated this gas further resulting in the discovery of the element.
Chlorine also forms 4 different types of oxides: Cl2O, ClO2, Cl2O6, Cl2O7.
The winner of the weekly element quiz is Raye Rivera, Canoga Perkins and
will get the services of Clumpy and Kloumpios for the week. Raye - let me
know where your facility is located and I'll have the boys get going so
you can put them to work. Given their tans, I think Heidi let them spend
more time on the beach than working with the tool & die team but I may be
wrong (they sure liked being in Florida last week).
The FEQAB did review Doug's submission of "Dazzlium" and since they did
not have expertise in the dental technical field, consulted with the
American Dental Association (ADA). The ADA has a crack group of 5 dentists
who routinely assess and vote on important dental topics. When posed the
question of Doug's "Dazzlium", only 4 of 5 dentists could agree with his
information. The FEQAB therefore could not award Doug's submission as
acceptable since there was no ADA consensus.
The next Friday Element Quiz will be issued at approximately 3AM Central
Standard Time US on Friday, Nov. 8th.
So far Clumpy and Kloumpios have done the following:
