For difficult-to-mix stuff which needs airless, we use a FlackTek SpeedMixer. Uses the same principle as "addling" eggs. The action can be pretty aggressive, especially for a high viscosity material, which can cause internal heating. Thus potlife can be reduced.

The machines are kind of pricey, but they result in uniform output with no entrained air.

Subject: [TN] Adhesive Mix and Dispense Machinary

Good morning all,

I am looking for companies that will make equipment to mix and dispense adhesives. I have a quote from PVA, and Speedline and Camalot have declined to quote. Have not asked Nordson Asymtek yet.

What other companies are there that I might approach?

Thanks.

Doug Pauls
