Anyone remember the HP freq counter flagship? Nixie-tubes, about 100
electron tubes, heavy, one man could not lift it..We had 10 of them
monsters. The LO took an hour to stabilize.We had games with it, e.g. who
could depress START followed by STOP fastest. The machine was immensely
fast, think it counted nanosecond pulses!
