Victor,
In the past 13 years I had the opportunity to document three creature
caused failures of telecommunication products. I've attached
photographs of the three creatures (snake, ant, and gecko) and have
copied Steve in hopes that he will post the photos for others to see.
We believe the creatures were alive when they caused a short-circuited
and failed the electronics and died by electrocution. We know this
might be viewed as cruel and unusually punishment by some but we viewed
the creatures were trespassing. Our customers weren't upset at what
happened to the creatures but they were glad that we were able to
identify the root cause for the failures.
Regards,
George

Fellow TechNetters:
Can the remains of Insects/Bugs skeletal on the surface of a
motherboard cause a functional failure before they died?
Victor,
