Hi Technet,

I've run into some sensors that may be susceptible to deposition of outgassed volatiles from plastic housings, esd bags, tapes, and adhesives.

I'm not looking "space" type protection, however, some of these materials cooking in your trunk on a hot day will outgas things that are not good for sensors.

Is there a procedure out there to test for outgassing in earthly environments?

Thanks and best regards,

Gerry
