Fellow Technocrats,

My company is in hot pursuit of a depanelizing router system. I have at least one unit on the radar right now, the Cencorp 1000BR (AKA BR1000). New they run >$200K, but the used market bears ~$70K, and there are a significant number of them (as many as 3 at one specific location) on the used market.

I am questioning "why" are so many "contemporary" units out there for sale? Could it be the recent decade of downsizing in the US, or perhaps therein lies an inherent defect or useful life issue?

A little insight would be greatly appreciated, even if by private message.

Thanks in advance!
