Hi Bev,

When it comes to borescopes, Olympus is very high quality. http://www.olympus-ims.com/en/rvi-products/

I manufacture an instrument for jet turbine engine blade inspection so i am aware of the products they make for this area as well as past experience in medical devices and the many instruments that they make for endoscopic surgery.

That being said, there are so many scopes to chose from, it depends on your precise needs that would determine what is best.

Here's an interesting website showing a huge variety of scopes http://www.fiberscope.net/ and they rent so you could try before you buy?

Also http://borescopesrus.com/

Gradient lens technology is available in borescopes http://www.gradientlens.com/?gclid=CIntgr2WgrkCFQya4AodPWgAIQ

Subject: [TN] Fiber optic borescope

Good morning!

I am on the hunt for a high end fiber optic borescope for my lab. # of
pixels, fiber OD, FoV, depth of field, fiber length and ability to be hooked
to a camera/monitor system are all things of interest.

This is NOT for looking under BGAs. We already have an endoscope.

Reply on or off line as appropriate.
