Steve,
How small? I use a Mirtec MV-2HTL and can detect a fine solder web between 0.020" pitch pads. I would say those were 0.002" wide or so. Our machine is a 2007 model. I know the newer machines have a higher resolution camera option available so should be able to see even better.

Hi All,
Any AOI systems out there that will pick up small solder shorts after assembly?
Thanks. Steve Kelly
