DIMM reseat failures occur often for many reasons which are not clearly understood. Deep dive analysis is required to isolate the issue which require pristine samples. Socket contact plating and DIMM finger contact plating, type of environment, flux residues, contaminants, etc,...

I think you mean resetting, not reseating. Numerous reasons. You may get help from the trouble shooting diagram:
