Thanks, Guy by all means use the manufacturers recommendations and or 
your company's safety manual.     I don't trust GFCI's when using test 
equipment however seen too many bum readings.

As I understand it there are two GFCI/GFI classes Class A operates at 
5mA and Class B operates at 20mA which is customarily for equipment 
protection.
