Depending on what you mean by 'reliability engineering', Failure Modes and Mechanisms in Electronic Packages by Puligandla and Pratap Singh may be useful. Along with PCBs, it includes assembly soldering and connectors. At least one of the authors, if my memory is correct, was active in Technet during the 2000-2001 time period. Louis Hart
