Correct. Defoamers are usually made with glycerin, not the best thing to get into your DI system. Foam is usually (not always) caused by organics, so the carbon takes care of that stuff.

I may have already asked this once, and I think I know the answer, but I'll ask anyway.

 

It's not a good idea to use defoamers in a closed-loop cleaner, right?

 

If we're getting too much foam in the wash tank, we should add another carbon bed, correct?
