If it's tin would Cornwall have been the secret Phoenician "island" in the Atlantic?  Us "Deb'm" lot would wish it were an island after they stole our pasties to take down the mines anyway. Deb'm = Devonian, from the county of Devon, for the American readers, and Cornwall is a strange dark land next door.
