Hi Inge, Greetings from Taiwan.... Since it is/was friday....... I used Netron Activation Analysis in college for analyzing mercury in swordfish back in 1973.Also used for lead in fetal blood. Also determined that there is/was one US ounce of gold per 19.3 cubic miles of Boston Harbor Sea Water.Interesting, since I don't think Boston Harbor contains 19.3 cubic miles of seawater. Anyway, the technique, unfortunately requires a nuclear reactor producing what is called fast neutrons.Anybody got one of those handy?MIT did. It is/was the absolute last word for analysis of heavy metals like lead, mercury, gold. No other method was as sensitive.May be different story now. Have fun with this one. Gerry
