Exactly.
How accurately can you place the tape?
Is there a tolerance on the drawing?
There needs to be a tolerance even for the best process.
It is best if it is explicitly identified so that so some incoming
inspector doesn't go "this nice sharp line is not exactly as shone on the
drawing"
Other processes have the sane issue and require a larger tolerance..

Part of Dfx is to account for variation.
If it needs to be tight, little variation will be tolerated.
It will cost more to produce than one where the sweet spot of the process
is used and accounted for.
That is the trade off, identify what is required and what can be
accomplished.
Make the descion by choice, do the best you can to ameliorate any problems
and don't cry about it later because of the cost and inconvenience.
Feed back the results and change the rules if necessary.
