What is your use? If it's for moisture sensitive devices, then you want something that will stay below 5% (and have a decent recovery time - J-STD-033 says 1 hr). As to whether this means a 2% cabinet or a 5% cabinet is appropriate, my guess is that both are, but you'll probably want to take a close look at the specs and see what the number really means.

Can anyone make a suggestion for the required level of humidity for a Dry Cabinet. 

 

I have seen 1%, 2% and 5% cabinets. I notice a small sampling of moisture indicators have 5% triggers. Does this infer a 2% cabinet is appropriate?

 

I am sure "It Depends" but what are folks using?
