Hi,

Our contract suppliers have supplied a batch of PCBs with less solder mask thickness. ( 4 micron on the knee and 8 microns on the track center). Since we specified only solder mask coverage in the procurement spec, we can't reject. The PCBs are meant for High reliability applications.

Is there any way to find out moisture sensitivity of the solder mask on actual board where IPC comb pattern is not available ?.

regards,

R.Saravanan
