I thought there was report regarding the metal handle, horse, pig, vs synthetic brush bench mark way way back in the ancient world prior to digital age.  (I am sure you got difficulty to search and find out that paper if ever.  I would be impressed if you bring it to the light from dark age).

That too.  Essentially, I am doing a study on whether or not specific types of brushes and brush handles result in ESD generation during a typical manual coating operation.
