I should have looked at things in the link I sent a little closer and

have discovered that there are more than just a few nozzles that are like

Fisnar makes what they call "Spreader" nozzles for their cartridges. Check
out this link:

Then look at the right hand side of the picture beneath the "Dispensing
Nozzles" link. you'll see a flat nozzle like you describe. Then click on 
the
link and scroll down to where you see "Specialty Nozzles" and you'll see
they have a couple of part numbers, one 3/8" wide and another 3/4" wide. 
If
you click on the part numbers you'll be taken to the Ellworth page that
shows what they cost, but they don't have any pictures of the actual 
nozzles
unfortunately.

Good morning all,

A possibly silly question, which I will attribute to having only one Diet
Dew so far today.

You know how on Miracle Whip or other mayonnaise container, you have a cap
which allows you to apply a wide ribbon of  MW/Mayo to your substrate?

What I am looking for is whether or not that same kind of approach can be
taken with adhesives from a pneumatic dispense cartridge.  I want to apply
a fairly viscous adhesive in a 1/2" wide (or so) ribbon across a surface.
I envision a 50cc syringe with a luer lock, ribbon dispense tip.

Does anything like that exist and if so, what are your experiences.  I
have the same question in to our Ellsworth Adhesive rep but thought I
would tap into this very large knowledge base.
