All,

The PCB Footprint Expert program is brand new software technology using the
latest software development tools to create it. It does not work on Windows
XP prior to Service Pack 3. It is really intended for Windows 7 and 8.
Sorry, but we're trying to use the latest software development tools to
introduce advanced features coming up in the near future. 

Everyone gets free updates and the new V2013 will be released on February 1.


We're still looking for alternate websites (affiliates) to distribute the
new "Lite" program. PCB Libraries will take all technical support, training
and other issues. i.e.: there is no responsibility to any affiliate besides
giving the free tool out to people in the industry. 

Please let us know if the free software has any value to you.

I tried but I could not install Microsoft Framework V4.0 on a PC running
Windows XP.
No problems on a PC using Windows 7 though ...

The latest Microsoft Framework is V4.0 (not 3.5). 

Download and install V4.0 and you're good to go.

Hi. I am running XP Pro sp3 and have .net framework 3.5
installed(latest),
however, when I try to install the footprint program it fails and says I

need .net framework.   ?????   Please advise.
