Dear Mr Paul,

What is the correct make up of micro-etch solution. We use the following make up

1. 15ml of liquid ammonia
2. 4 ml of Hydrogen Peroxide
3. 25 ml of DI water.

Our humidity levels are 95%. The problem is some times good results are obtained after half an hour after the makeup.

sometimes after 45 minutes and sometimes after one hour.

After preparation what is the optimum time required to use the solution. After preparing whether we have to keep the solution in closed or open condition ?. Whether make is correct ?. We dip the mould in the solution .

We are using hot mount techniques for pcb micro-section. Phenolic power is used as epoxy. Kindly advise regards,

R.Saravanan
