I would strongly caution against something like this.  You specifically want something formulated to withstand the chemicals of water wash.  This also means that there is nothing that the mats contribute to the cleaning sump.  Think about how easy it is to contaminate a wash sump. Suddenly, everything is contaminated.

You could try something like an open ESD floor mat, cut down to size.  I'm not sure how long the natural rubber would hold up to your wash process or how much spray jet shadowing is tolerable.
