Graham,
Give the guys at Stone Mountain Tool at call. They make all kinds of
fixtures for electronics, generally pretty quick and reasonably priced.

Good day TechNet!
We do high mix / low volume manufacturing, and often get oddball parts
in packaging that is not conducive to pick and place machines (e.g. a
bag of parts). I would like to get a supply of material so that we can
machine a tray to hold such parts and use it to feed them into the P&P
machines. We could make them out of material such as aluminum, but I'm
thinking that the stuff commonly used for wave soldering pallets would
be a lot easier to machine. Can anyone advise a source for this material?
Thanks, and best wishes for the upcoming Christmas holidays!
