Technetters,

We have two copper plating thickness meters, Oxford 511 and Oxford 563. The first is for measuring thickness in plated holes, the second for surface thickness.

When they are out for calibration, we rent replacements. Oxford is moving its lab, and rentals are not easily available now. Any suggestions on where we might rent these or comparable instruments?

While on the subject of plating thickness meters, what instruments are comparable? I looked a bit at the Fischer website, but did not notice immediately anything that looked like it was close to either of the Oxford instruments.
