We have a 3M 8400 series conductive floor tile. It is no-wax, and we only use the 3M neutral floor cleaner on it. We also use a floor swing buffer with a white pad to clean off black marks and to give it a little shine. Have not had any issues with it failing the monthly tests.

Subject: [TN] ESD flooring maintenance

Hi all,

Looking for some input on the maintenance that needs to be put into EDS flooring. We have two types (conductive and dissipative) in our facility. We measure on a monthly basis and find that we quickly get out of spec.

-What products are you using to clean the floors?
-Are you waxing the floors? Is it a good idea to use wax? (we currently do not use wax)

Basically, what needs to be done to keep the floor clean, shinny and within specs?

thanks as usual for all your inputs!

Eric
