Dear Guru's

I have been asked question regarding maximum surface contact pressure applied, for instance when tightening down a screw onto FR4 before deformation is seen. I expect if there is copper around the pad, then I know this would deform easily, but what of the FR4 underneath?  What would maximum recommended torque settings be for screws and bolts into FR4 with and without supported holes?

Regards,
Colin
