Fellow TechNetters:

I have a cross section which has an unusual laminate anomaly. I have seen this more prevalent on LF laminate and hybrids. The anomaly can occur between small PTHs and areas without any hole. All layers seem to be effected. The numbers are not staggering but of a concern. The glass rods seem to break off/separate from the bundle/laminate. The medium grind procedure is 1000, 1200, 2400, 400, 6, 3, and 1 microns slurry with final polish of 0.05 alumina. I will upload a photo to Steve.

Victor,
