Do they have more than one solder in the solderpots of their wave and
select solder machines?
If they do, biggest risk is mixing up the dross from the different pots.

The process melts the dross and mechanically squeezes out the solder.
Leadfree solders are so expensive that this is a good way to reduce waste.

Check the alloy that is reclaimed to qualify the process of reclamation..
Verify what the sampling plan is for the solderpots, action limits and what
actions are taken for out of spec solder alloy.

This is a process is that is being introduced and has been successful.
Like all processes it has to be qualified and monitored.
