Dunno whether anyone has already suggested it, but calcium seems to fit 
the bill. 3 inert isotopes + 2 semi inert ones, used by the ancients in 
lime, also used in calcining other ores.

PS Ca used to be known as Cp or cheapium but since Portland cement was 
invented, this name was abandoned in favour of dearium.
