Since the wrong temperature can be our worst nightmare, I would do a temp test starting with the lowest and increasing until I had the proper temp to do the job. I have always done this when there is no temp documented to go by. The proper size tip is also very important.

A customer has asked whether IPC has a standard temperature profile for RoHS
Pb-Free hand soldering. I'm not aware of one and since there are multiple
RoHS compliant alloys I don't know whether there should or could be one.
Is there any such document or series of documents?
