It is all depend upon how you store it.  Fresh meat stored in freezer got different shelf-life compare to room temp.  What is design intended storage, effect the selection of materials. ask your design group.  The cost benefit analysis got a lot to do with how you can afford to store at what condition.  Remind me that someone built a cooling cabinet just for store obsolete materials.

Folks,

Bare PCB has a shelf life depending on its surface finish, component like electrolytic capacitor and MSD devices also have defined shelf life.
But for PCBA, how to define its shelf life? Is there any applicable standards?
