Hi Rudolph,
Could you be more specific about your needs?
If you are comparing unloaded PCBs to CAD there are many good AOI systems and many people on this forum who can help you.
If you need to do AOI on populated boards you will need a different machine but still many people here can help.
If you are measuring mechanical parts, it will depend on the size and shape of the parts. CMMs are good for 3 dimensional parts. Yet another type of optical system is best for flat parts. The mechanical measurement systems I've seen don't usually work directly from CAD. Instead you map the part features from measurements and overlay the CAD on screen.
Best regards,
Raye Rivera

Subject: [TN] Looking for a new Precision measurement equipment for PCB / Mechanical part inspection
We are looking for a brand new machine that can do automatic measurement based on CAD data on PCB or other mechanical part.
Currently we are using the a maual Micro Vu equipement for the job.
Can someone tell me if there are other "well known" equipement supplier that sell this type of inspection equipement.
Thanks
Rudolph
