From the mechanical aspect, over-torque of the screws would be my main concern causing tear out of the PCB material. So if you specify a nominal torque not to exceed you might be ok. I have seen a few boards with imbedded/clinched fasteners just have to be careful with mounting hardware.

Hi Technetters
We have a design requires to mount about 10 self-clinching nuts on a 13*7 inch FR-4 PCB, it's quite new to us and we are concerned a lot about adverse effect on PCB reliability.
Can anyone point me the right direct to investigate? What should we worried about?
Any suggestion is welcomed.
