I would add a note of caution for Carl.
I have heard of some of these canned solvents attacking diallyl phthalate connector bodies, etc., and causing them to disintegrate. Some can attack other plastics. 
So be careful what you use them on.

there are myriades of these solvents, and everyone claim of course that
their's is the best. We have tested a lot, and there seemed to be no or
very little difference, so I will not mention any favorite, which might
mislead. What is crucial is the resulting cleanliness. Why not see what
Dough has to tell you in his very practical and useful report, that I send
to you. In this case, I'm not afraid of the copytrauma, because we are
within the 'family'.

PS. I think the most important is not what brand you buy but HOW you use
the product.
