James took care of the design standard and book very nicely.

Regarding how to mount the flex circuit (FC) in the printer and pick and place, it is typically done using a carrying fixture.
Contact DMI Pallet and they can help you with that. www.dmipallet.com. All you need to do is send them the fabrication drawing of the circuit, they do the rest. The pallets are designed to carry the FC through paste print, epoxy dispense (if needed), pick and place, reflow, and wash.
More specifically, see http://www.dmipallet.com/smt_solder.php. On the bottom of the page is info on processing flex circuits.
They specialize in flex carrier pallets. Very, very good company; I have done business with them for more than 20 years, and they have never let me down.
Good service, and consistently good price compared to others.
