Hi Patrick!

It should. My phone has a touch-screen and I'm able to view the shot in my
screen and then just touch it to take the picture. I just didn't my phone
could do that until I tried it...

We have a little Dino-lite digital microscope here and it's what I used to
take the picture of the solder ball shorting the leads for Scott Post a week
or so ago:

It works amazing well too.

Thanks Steve for the information, wonder if it will work for other
cameras???? I found a cheap $40 40-200x microscope camera that is usb,
comes with it's own lighting supply, no software though, so unless you have
capture software might not be too useful. Look online.

Hi All,

Read an article yesterday about an attachment that was being offered for
Iphones that could position the phone camera into a microscope and take
pictures for around $60 -75.

There was a comment to the article saying why pay the money for that when
you can make your cell phone into a microscope? So I was intrigued. I took a
5X Bausch and Lomb eye-loop and held it over the lens of my BlackBerry
Torch, and by golly it works!

Just some useless information that I thought I'd pass on for Friday.
