Hi William,

Thanks! Don't know why I didn't think of that. I don't mean this as an excuse for not thinking of the IPC but, you would think that searching for PCB Design training course on the Internet would bring up at least a couple subjects with IPC listed in the results. Maybe I should have searched 'PWB'.

Best Regards,
Rick

Check out the Designer Certification course from the IPC Designers Council. It is excellent.

Subject: [TN] PCB Design Intro Courses

Hi All,

I am trying to find a non-CAD tool based PCB Design Intro training here on the East coast (or thereabouts). Seems that the available training is either based on a particular CAD tool or, too advanced for the trainee I have in mind. Any recommendations?

I am not sure if posting the name of a company in this forum is against IPC Technet guidelines so please bear this in mind when responding.

Thanks much!

With Best Regards,
Rick
