On metric vs. Imperial, as I've said, I work in metric, but we had a new mechanical engineer start here recently who was doing an enclosure for a board I'd be designing and of course used metric because that's what all the mechanical engineers work in over here, but after he'd created a board outline for me he spent extra time converting into sensible imperial sizes for an IDF output and dimensioned drawing for me, because, he said " all you PCB guys work in imperial".

It was painful to tell him he'd been wasting his time.
