That really sums it up! IPC-7351 does not include silkscreen, assembly,
polarity marking, ref des, 3D model, etc. in the publication. 

So a Land Pattern is just the Pads and Courtyard and a Footprint is the
complete CAD library part. 

Now we're making progress.
