Currently we use GC Prevue for import and checking of gerber/excellon data and Valor Universal Viewer for checking of ODB++ data.
Our pool PCB fabricator offers a discount for pre-translated gerber in to a GWK file and our other prototype PCB fabricators use Genesis and offer a tooling discount if ODB++ is supplied.

I've recently started using DFMNow! for both gerber and ODB++ DFM checks.
