Hi Steve,
Check with ecsrefining.com or fctrecovery.com

We use both of them and are very satisfied with their service. You
shouldn't have to pay shipping for that kind of volume.

Subject: [TN] Recycled Solder Prices

Hi all,

I recently emptied a wave solder pot, and am waiting for a call back
from a
local metal scrap yard for what they will give me for some clean ingots
of
63/37 solder.

Out of curiosity I started search the 'net for prices for recycled 63/37
solder, and you know what? It's pretty hard to find. I did call one
place
because it listed on their web page that they recycled solder, but to
call
and ask for the price. They told me that they would give me only 60
cents a
pound. Does that sound right? I mean with the price of tin up around
$10.00
a pound that seemed pretty low to me.

What should I expect to get for recycled 63/37 solder?

Steve
