The tube equipment for the most part is immune to EMP so Nuke bombs don't wipe out the avionics. 

Next question.   

My HF amp runs a matched pair of 3-500Z triodes, 2KW.

My 4th and 5th Lumbar discs have a special relationship with a particular airborne radar B-band Coaxitron assembly that had mason jar sized tetrode and triode piggybacked inside and was full of FC-77 coolant.
